And now we come to the end of the semester...the last assignment for Shanth Enjeti's 'Character Creation': Take and tweak two of your previous designs and place the two characters in an environment. This felt SO GOOD. I am SO excited to be doing full pieces again, I can't even tell you. It's been so long just doing head-on characters that I have really been longing to get my teeth into something more compositional and narrative. (Next semester will rock for those reasons). Anyways, I'm really pleased with how this came out...it was a long fight to get it there through the conceptual sketch phase (up on my blog: [link]) But I'm really happy with the outcome. I happen to like it with the text (slapping that title on at the very end was extremely satisfying), but a textless version will be up on my blog as well! I'm not sure what the future holds for Kojo, besides punching monsters naturally, but I really hope y'all enjoy this piece! I will miss this class dearly...
