Watercolor Escaflowne and Gold Ochre

A little more of what I've been up to, lately-
I recently got back into watching Escaflowne...which I only vaguely remembered from my childhood. It's one of those things that's been rattling around in my head ever since, and it was a really fun trip down memory lane to go through it again- it still holds up surprisingly well!
I was seized by the sudden urge to draw giant robots (which is a rare but powerful urge for me)
So this is just a bunch of lady-type dudes and aliens that seem to happen whenever I watch anime

Also: I forgot how much Dilandau fascinated me. Still creepy.

Some day I'm gonna have to do something with mechs in it...for Escaflowne and Gundam Wing's sake.

Also also- I spontaneously bought myself a new tube of paint this week: Gold Ochre! It turns out to be a really gorgeous warm orangey yellow and I'm excited to keep experimenting with it- It's good to mix it up a bit
