I spent over 6 months of last year embedded as a concept artist working with the Play-Doh team at Hasbro! One of the things I helped with was to create characters as part of a vision for the new Play-Doh Town toys (actually available on stores now wherever Doh is sold!)
I've been given permission to post just a very few of the pieces of art I did with them while I was on the project.
As I was exploring how to represent the material in my concepts, I hit on the idea of actually just sculpting parts of it in real Play-Doh and photographing it to mix with illustration- so these are the result of working half at my desk on the computer and half on the floor with cans of Play-Doh everywhere
so much fun!
